Bede Shaw completed their secondary education at Howard of Effingham from 1997 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature at the University of Sussex from 2005 to 2008. Bede successfully graduated with a 2:1 degree classification.

Dementia UK provides specialist dementia support for families through our Admiral Nurse service. When things get challenging or difficult for people with dementia and their families, Admiral Nurses work alongside them. They give the one-to-one support, guidance and practical solutions people need, and that can be hard to find elsewhere. Admiral Nurses are continually trained, developed and supported by Dementia UK.
