Sophie Paturle-Guesnerot

Sophie Paturle-Guesnerot is a founding partner of Demeter Partners.

Sophie has an extensive experience in private equity. Since 1991 she has successively held the positions of Investment Manager for BTP Capital followed by Investment Director for Crédit du Nord. From 1999 to 2005, Sophie was Associate Director for Société Générale Private Equity.

Sophie currently serves as a Board member of IFPEN (French Petroleum and New Energies Institute) and as Chairman of the Audit committee. She is a former Board member of France Invest (ex-AFIC French Private Equity Association); she founded AFIC avec Elles (which aims at promoting women in Private Equity) and heads the Climate Commission.

Sophie is a graduate in Corporate Finance from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris. She also holds a Master’s in Economics and is a qualified Corporate Accountant.

She is a Knight of the National Order of Merit.
