George Koliastassis

George Koliastassis has a successful work experience with various companies in financial and managerial roles. George is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at DEMO Pharmaceuticals S.A. since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at PALIRRIA S.A. from September 2019 to June 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Consultant at Alvarez & Marsal from January 2019 to June 2019. Before that, they served as the Group CFO at Intralot from March 2016 to December 2018 and at Intracom Holdings from January 2014 to February 2016. George also has experience as a CFO at Vodafone from February 2008 to June 2013, Finance & Administration Director at Bacardi from January 2005 to January 2008, and Finance Director at Barilla Group from November 1999 to December 2004. George began their professional career as a Taxation & Reporting Manager at Piraeus Bank from July 1995 to October 1999 and as a Senior Accountant and Logistics at Agfa from June 1991 to June 1995.

George Koliastassis began their education in 1985 at Athens University of Economics and Business, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting and Finance. George completed this degree in 1991.

Following this, in 1992, George attended the University of Warwick, where they studied and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance, Strategy, and General studies, completing this program in 1996.

In addition to their academic qualifications, George Koliastassis also acquired a certification as a Certified Accountant in Greece from the Economic Chamber of Greece in November 1993.
