Danielle Tschirhart

Danielle Tschirhart is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Democracy Prep Public Schools. Prior to their current role, they served as the Managing Director of Finance and Operations at the Public Preparatory Network from July 2013 to June 2019. In this role, they oversaw finance, school-based and network operations, technology, data, student recruitment, advocacy, real estate and growth. Tschirhart also supervised and developed a large team of operations leaders.

Before their time at the Public Preparatory Network, Tschirhart served as a Senior Analyst at SUNY Charter Schools Institute from June 2011 to July 2013. In this role, they provided support to new and existing charter schools in the areas of operations, finance and governance.

Tschirhart began their career as a Country Strategy Consultant at the World Food Programme from November 2010 to June 2011. In this role, they advised on country strategy and programming for food assistance activities.

Tschirhart has a proven track record in operational leadership and management. Danielle has extensive experience in the areas of finance, operations, data and technology. Tschirhart is a strong leader with a commitment to excellence and a passion for education.

Danielle Tschirhart has a Master of Public Administration from Columbia | SIPA, a Master of Public Affairs from Sciences Po, a Master of Science for Teachers from Pace University, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Their manager is Natasha Trivers, Chief Executive Officer. A direct report to Danielle Tschirhart is and Michelle Gieg - Chief of Staff. They work with Claire Chaney - Senior Director of Data Support & Accountability, Jacquie Young - Chief People Officer, and Princess Lyles - Vice President of External Affairs.
