Sarah Demarest

Sarah Demarest has over 15 years of work experience in various roles. Sarah began their career in 2005 as an Advertising Account Executive at Media General, where they managed an account base of 54 customers and increased it by an average of 9% each month, exceeding revenue goals 17 of 20 months by an average of 26.5%. In 2007, Sarah moved on to The Charlotte Observer as an Account Executive, where they exceeded revenue goals 11 of 16 months by an average of 14.7% and managed an active account base of 40 customers per month. In 2009, Sarah joined WDAV Classical Public Radio as the Director of Membership, where they were responsible for generating $1M in revenue annually through client events, direct mailings and fundraising campaigns. Sarah organized, planned and executed 5 donor fundraising campaigns annually and strategized, organized, planned and implemented 4 client events annually. In 2022, Sarah joined Democracy Works as the Development Manager.
