Mshr Michelle McGough

Michelle McGough, MSHR, has extensive experience in human resources, spanning over two decades. Their most recent position is as the Executive Director of Human Resources at Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply. Prior to this, Michelle worked as a Human Resources Consultant at HumanCapitalWise Consulting, LLC. Michelle also served as the Director of Human Resources at SIMONA AMERICA Industries, where they were responsible for managing HR functions and implementing various initiatives to improve compliance, talent development, and employee engagement.

Michelle has also held senior leadership roles at TE Connectivity, Armstrong World Industries, and Amazon. At TE Connectivity, they served as the Senior Director of Global Human Resources for Mergers & Acquisitions, overseeing HR aspects of global buy and sell activities. At Armstrong World Industries, Michelle was the Vice President of Global Human Resources, leading HR operations for a global business with manufacturing sites worldwide. During their time at Amazon, they worked as the Regional Manager of Human Resources, responsible for workforce planning and staffing for East-Coast fulfillment center operations.

Earlier in their career, Michelle gained valuable experience at Lockheed Martin as an HR Business Partner, where they supported the integration of policies and programs from Loral Corp. to LMC. Michelle also worked as a Supervisor of Human Resources at EGS Electrical Group LLC Minority Interest in Joint Venture, handling generalist support for various operations.

Michelle's comprehensive experience in HR encompasses key areas such as talent development, organizational restructuring, compensation planning, and change management. Their expertise in mergers and acquisitions, as well as their track record in managing large global teams, make their a highly skilled and well-rounded HR professional.

Michelle McGough, MSHR, completed their education at the University of Scranton and Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Michelle earned a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Administration from the University of Scranton from 1997 to 1999. During the preceding academic year of 1996 to 1997, they obtained a Certificate in Professional Human Resource Management, SHRM Learning System, also from the University of Scranton. Their undergraduate studies at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania focused on Psychology and Social Work, resulting in a Bachelor of Science degree.

In addition to their formal education, Michelle McGough has obtained several certifications. Michelle completed the "How to Use LinkedIn Learning" certification from LinkedIn in January 2021. In the same month, they also obtained certifications in "The Step-by-Step Guide to Building your Thought Leadership on LinkedIn" and "Video Strategies for High Engagement" from LinkedIn. Prior to that, in December 2020, they received certification in "Project Management Simplified" from LinkedIn.
