Kristen Jacoby

Kristen Jacoby is a legal professional with extensive experience in employment law, currently serving as the Director of Corporate Counsel for Employment Law at Denali Therapeutics since July 2025. Previously, Kristen held the position of Deputy General Counsel for Employment and Litigation at Aurora from June 2021 to July 2025, where responsibilities included leading employment law functions and advising on strategic HR decisions. Kristen's prior roles included Deputy General Counsel for Employment and Commercial Law, and Assistant General Counsel for Employment Law at Genentech, where Kristen contributed to workforce strategy and healthcare compliance. Kristen also has significant litigation experience, having worked as a Senior Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, and as an Attorney at Heller Ehrman. Kristen began legal career as a Law Clerk for Hon. Carol E. Jackson in the U.S. District Court. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) degree, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School and a BA in Psychology and American Studies, cum laude, from Wellesley College.
