David Sheppard

David Sheppard, Executive Vice President, and Chief Operating Officer joined Denbury in November 2015 and has more than 26 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry. Mr. Sheppard was previously employed at Noble Energy where he held a variety of leadership roles, most recently as the Director of Global Drilling. David’s experience and responsibilities at Noble have included onshore and offshore drilling, development projects, and production engineering. Mr. Sheppard earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
