Janise Powell has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Janise started their career as a Landman at Trek Resources in 1999, where they negotiated interest purchases and verified chains of title. In 2001, they joined Prize Energy (now Magnum-Hunter Resources, Inc.) as an Operations Analyst, where they prepared analytical summaries for senior landmen. Janise then worked at Denbury Resources as a Sr. Division Order Analyst from 2001 to 2008. From 2008 to 2012, they served as a Supervisor at Noble Energy. Janise returned to Denbury Resources in 2012 as a Sr. Division Order Analyst. In 2013, they joined Petro Harvester Operating Company, LLC, as a Sr. Division Order Analyst and later became a Land Administration Supervisor at Petro Harvester Oil & Gas, LLC. In 2013, they also took on the role of Sr. Division Order Analyst and Team Lead at Denbury Resources Inc. Overall, Janise has extensive experience in land management and division order analysis in the oil and gas industry.

Janise Powell attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University from 1972 to 1976. Janise completed their Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education during this time.
