Clifford Vanichsarn

Clifford Vanichsarn has extensive work experience in the field of Quality Assurance (QA) and Automation Testing. Clifford started their career as a QA Tester at Foldera Inc in 2006 and then worked as a Research Assistant at Tohoku University in 2009.

In 2010, Clifford joined API Systems, Inc. and Visual Incite as a Web Analyst, where they managed automation testing for the Pregnancy Center portion of the Kaiser Permanente website. Clifford improved testing efficiency by utilizing Selenium and JUnit to create automated test scripts, reducing the time spent on regression testing.

From 2012 to 2018, Clifford worked at Electronic Arts as a Senior QA, responsible for writing automation scripts and analyzing web traffic to ensure the stability and functionality of the Origin software. Clifford also served as the Point of Contact for all Origin QA related matters, ensuring product stability.

In 2012, Clifford also joined Cisco Systems as a Performance Tester. Clifford evaluated the efficiency and performance of web applications using various tools and collaborated with international teams to provide suggestions for improving product performance.

From 2018 to 2019, Clifford worked as a Software Developer In Test at Avast, creating automation scripts to ensure the stability and performance of the backend systems for the Verizon Smart Family product. Clifford also served as a QA Lead, addressing quality concerns early in the development process and parallelizing testing with development.

In 2019, Clifford joined Polarr as a QA Automation Engineer, where they developed automation testing strategies and frameworks for the Polarr Photo Editor application across multiple platforms. Clifford pioneered the addition of image quality testing to the automation test suite, reducing overall testing time for each release.

From 2020 to 2022, Clifford worked at Frontdoor, Inc. as an Automation Engineer. Clifford was responsible for manual and automation testing across three teams, utilizing cloud-based testing platforms. Clifford also led an international team of testers and addressed quality concerns early in the development process.

From 2022 to 2023, Clifford worked at °Nomad Health as a QA Engineer. Clifford developed automation frameworks for customer-facing and internal websites and led the practice of building test cases and test plans. Clifford also implemented office hours to facilitate collaboration within the QA team.

Currently, Clifford is employed at Dendi as a QA Engineer, starting in 2023.

Clifford Vanichsarn obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from UC Irvine, where they studied from 2005 to 2009.
