Noé Ortega-Quijano has a wealth of work experience in the field of engineering. From 2008 to 2021, they have held various roles in different organizations. Noé's career began as a Predoctoral Research Fellow at the Universidad de Cantabria in 2008. Noé then held a Predoctoral Research Stay at Ecole Polytechnique in 2011. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Universidad de Cantabria, and then a Replacement Professor and R&D Engineer from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, they were a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Institut de Physique de Rennes (CNRS - Université de Rennes 1) from 2014 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they held the roles of Head of Engineering, Senior R&D Engineer, and R&D Photonics Engineer at Deneb Medical. Noé was also an Accelerator Company at MedTech Innovator from 2018 to 2021. Finally, they are currently an Adjunct Professor at Ecole Centrale de Marseille.

Noé Ortega-Quijano obtained a PhD from Universidad de Cantabria between 2008 and 2012. Noé also obtained a BEng in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad de Cantabria between 2002 and 2007. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from the Ministère de l’enseignement supérieur et de la recherche de la République Française and Agencia Nacional de Evaluación de la Calidad y Acreditación (ANECA), including qualifications for Maître de conférences in Section 30 (Milieux dilués et optique) in 2015, Acreditación para el acceso a la figura de profesor contratado doctor in 2013, Acreditación para el acceso a la figura de profesor de universidad privada in 2013, and Acreditación para el acceso a la figura de profesor ayudante doctor in 2012.
