Tymen Nagel possesses extensive experience in the optical systems engineering field, having served as the owner of Chromar Technology since 1998, where responsibilities include concept development, detail design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing of optical systems for missile guidance, surveillance, and target acquisition across various defense platforms. Concurrently, Tymen holds the position of optical systems engineer at Denel Dynamics since 1978, contributing similarly to the design and implementation of optical systems for airborne and land defense applications. Educated at Potchefstroom University, Tymen earned a Cum Laude MSc in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on optical systems.
