Born in 1964, KUMRU completed his undergraduate studies at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, and his graduate and doctorate studies at Istanbul University Social Sciences Institute. He served in various positions at Esbank TAŞ between 1987-1999, and in 1998 he assumed the position of Assistant General Manager. KUMRU joined the DenizBank Financial Services Group family in 1999. Derya KUMRU has been serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at DenizBank A.Ş. since December 2012; As of March 2021, it undertakes the functions of Project Finance, Financial Structuring, Credit Follow-up and Risk Monitoring Group.
