Derya Kumru

Born in 1964, KUMRU completed his undergraduate studies at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, and his graduate and doctorate studies at Istanbul University Social Sciences Institute. He served in various positions at Esbank TAŞ between 1987-1999, and in 1998 he assumed the position of Assistant General Manager. KUMRU joined the DenizBank Financial Services Group family in 1999. DenizBank A.Ş. After serving as the Executive Vice President of the Corporate Marketing Group, General Manager of Deniz Leasing and Deniz Factoring, he served as the General Manager of DenizBank Moscow in 2004. Between 2009-2011 DenizBank A.Ş. Assistant General Manager in Corporate, Commercial Banking, Public Project Finance and Foreign Subsidiaries Group, Between 2011 and 2012, he served as Deputy General Manager of the Wholesale Banking Group. Derya KUMRU has been serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at DenizBank A.Ş. since December 2012; As of March 2021, it undertakes the functions of Project Finance, Financial Structuring, Credit Follow-up and Risk Monitoring Group.
