Dr. Richard Brunner has a diverse work experience in the legal field. During this time, they provided legal counsel on copyrights, internet law, competition law, trademark law, and moral rights, and also drafted and negotiated licensing agreements.

In 2004, Dr. Brunner joined Becker Büttner Held as an Attorney-at-law, where they represented and advised various clients such as copyright collecting societies, music labels, composers, and advertising agencies in copyright enforcement and litigation.
