Alexander Prokhorov

Alexander Prokhorov is an experienced sales and channel management professional, currently serving as Sales Director at Denodo since June 2020, where responsibilities include promoting Data Virtualization as a unified data layer for enterprises. Prior roles include Channel Manager at Riverbed Technology, focusing on partner portfolio sales and channel strategy, and Sales Account Manager at Informatica, where Alexander contributed to the establishment of the Moscow office and the development of new channel strategies. Additional experience includes various managerial and technical roles at Symantec, IBS, Technoserv A/S, IntegProg, the Institute of System Programming of the Russian Academy of Science, and the Computer Center of Moscow State University. Alexander holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University, completed between 1990 and 1999.
