John Steffer

John Steffer has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. John began their career at Target as a Macintosh Support Engineer from April 2001 to July 2004, before transitioning to a role as a Unix Systems Administrator at Target from July 2004 to June 2006.

In 2007, John worked as a Technical Support Engineer (TSE) at Sun Microsystems, providing support to customers through various channels. Later that year, they joined Sunrise Medical as a Senior Systems Admin and stayed until July 2011.

John then joined Denovo Ventures LLC in July 2011 and held various positions within the company. John started as a Unix Systems Administrator from July 2011 to May 2013, then progressed to become the Unix Team Lead from May 2013 to August 2014. John further advanced to Manager of Unix Services from August 2014 to December 2014, followed by Manager of Distributed Systems from December 2014 to March 2017. John then transitioned to a role as a Technology Services Engineer & Technical Project Manager from March 2017 to July 2020.

At Denovo Ventures LLC, John's career took another leap when they became a Principal Cloud Architect from July 2020 to January 2021. Subsequently, they served as the Director of Cloud Architecture from January 2021 to October 2021. John then took on the role of Senior Director of Architecture from August 2021 to June 2023. John subsequently became the Vice President of Architecture from June 2023 to October 2023, and is currently the CTO and Vice President of Cloud Architecture since October 2023.

John Steffer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with a minor in Speech Communications from the University of Minnesota. John also has a High School Diploma from Washburn Senior High School. In addition, they have obtained certifications in AI Challenges and Opportunities for Leadership from LinkedIn and in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2018 Certified Architect Associate from Oracle.
