Qiming Zhao

Qiming Zhao is a Senior R&D Engineer at DENSO since March 2014, specializing in autonomous driving technology through the development of Formal Method-based algorithms and system modeling using Domain Specific Language (DSL). Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at Missouri S&T, where Qiming developed real-time optimal control algorithms and advanced control methods for uncertain environments. Early academic work involved analyzing aircraft uncertainty and designing robust controllers as a Research Assistant at Northwestern Polytechnical University. Qiming holds a PhD in Intelligent Control Systems from Missouri University of Science and Technology, an M.S. in Control Theory and Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, and a BS in Automation from Central South University.
