Laszlo Mechtler M.d.

Laszlo Mechtler has a diverse work experience in the field of neurology. Laszlo began their career as the Chief of Neuro-oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in 1990. Prior to that, they served as the Medical Director at Dent Neurologic Institute, a private practice group specializing in neurologic specialties and neurodiagnostics. In 2019, Dr. Mechtler founded the Mechtler Institute of Neurological Disorders (MIND), where they currently hold the position of Founder and Medical Director.

Laszlo Mechtler M.D., FAAN, FEAN, FAAN, FAHS obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Semmelweis University from 1978 to 1984. Laszlo then completed a Neuro oncology fellowship at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences from 1988 to 1989. In addition to their degrees, they hold several certifications, including being Board Certified in Neurology and UCNS Certified in Headache Medicine, Neuro-Oncology, and Neuroimaging from various institutions.
