Gerard Cowan

Gerard Cowan is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in database management and enterprise applications. Currently serving as Global Risk Applications and System Manager at Dentons since October 2023, Gerard previously held the role of Technical Manager for Enterprise Data and Applications at Allen & Overy from March 2012 to October 2023, overseeing global enterprise-level applications and the database estate across eight data centers. Prior experience includes Senior SQL Server DBA at Allstate Northern Ireland, where management involved over 4000 application databases, and roles as Production Support Technical Consultant at SX3 and Modus Media International. Gerard holds a BSc Hons in Computer Science from UUJ, earned between 1996 and 1999.
