Katherine Foran is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Deputy Global Chief Legal Officer and Europe Director of Risk at Dentons since March 2013. In this role, Katherine is responsible for overseeing the firm's risk procedures and systems in mainland Europe and the CIS, managing various aspects of new business intake, including compliance with conflicts of interest, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and corruption, and sanctions. Katherine also handles the maintenance of the firm's professional indemnity programme and addresses ethical, regulatory, and Bar requirements. Prior to joining Dentons, Katherine worked at Salans LLP (now Dentons Europe LLP) from June 2003 to January 2013 as Deputy Head of Risk and Senior Risk Manager. Katherine has a BVC in Law from the Inns of Court School of Law and an LLB in Law with French from Swansea University.
