Reno Fernandez

Reno Fernandez is a certified specialist in bankruptcy law, recognized by the State Bar of California Board of Specialization. Currently serving as Counsel at Binder & Malter, LLP since September 2023, Reno has previously held the position of Counsel at Complex Appellate Litigation Group LLP from March 2022 to October 2023, focusing on bankruptcy-related appellate matters. As a Partner and later as an Associate Attorney at Macdonald | Fernandez LLP from December 2007 to February 2022, Reno represented a diverse clientele in various bankruptcy cases. Reno has also actively participated in legal organizations, including serving as Chairperson for the Commercial Law & Bankruptcy Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco and as a board member for both the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum and the Bar Association of San Francisco. Reno holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University, School of Law.
