Cord Friedrich Staehler

Cord Friedrich Staehler has a wealth of experience in the technology and healthcare industries. Cord Friedrich currently serves as the SVP Chief Technology Officer at Dentsply Sirona, a position they have held since May 2019. Prior to this, Staehler worked at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany from 2015 to 2019, where they served as the SVP Global Head Medical Devices & Services. Cord Friedrich also has experience at Siemens Healthineers, where they held the position of Chief Technology Officer on the Executive Committee Healthcare from 2010 to 2015. Staehler has a background in founding and leading companies, having served as the Founder, President, and CEO of febit group from 2005 to 2010, LUMA Biotech Holding from 2004 to 2005, and ferrarius biotechnology (later febit ag) from 1999 to 2004. Earlier in their career, Staehler worked as a Project Manager at Fraunhofer IPA from 1996 to 1998.

Cord Friedrich Staehler pursued their education at the following universities: Universität Karlsruhe, where they obtained a Vor-Diplom (Bachelor) degree in Maschinenbau; Universität Siegen, where they earned a Diplom-Ingenieur (Master) degree in Maschinenbau; and Universität des Saarlandes, where they completed their studies and received a Dr.rer.med. (PhD) degree in Human Genetics.
