Dr. Wolf-Dieter Perlitz

Dr. Wolf-Dieter Perlitz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Dr. Wolf-Dieter is currently serving as the Director & Global Head of SaaS Platform Product Management at Dentsply Sirona, where they are responsible for their comprehensive cloud platform. Prior to this, they held roles such as Head of DS Core Platform, Collaboration & CAD/CAM Planning at Dentsply Sirona, and Global Head of Solution Management Planning Software & Solutions.

Before joining Dentsply Sirona, Dr. Perlitz co-founded Loving Local, a platform for customer retention and social media marketing. Dr. Wolf-Dieter held the position of Co-Founder & Managing Director at Loving Local.

Dr. Perlitz also has experience in consulting, having worked at Siemens Management Consulting as a Project Manager and Senior Consultant. In this role, they focused on developing IoT and digitalization strategies and project management for Big Data Analytics projects. Dr. Wolf-Dieter worked on projects such as digital transformation strategy, M&A, post-merger integration, and global pricing strategy for various divisions within Siemens.

Additionally, they have academic experience as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter & Phd Candidate at WifOR Institute and as a Studentischer Mitarbeiter at TU Darmstadt.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Perlitz gained valuable experience as a working student and consultant at Fresenius Kabi Oncology Ltd. India and Junior Comtec Darmstadt e.V. respectively. Dr. Wolf-Dieter also served as the 1. Vorortsprecher/Vorsitzender at Weinheimer Senioren-Convent and as a Studentischer Mitarbeiter at TU Darmstadt, Fachgebiet Finanz- und Wirtschaftspolitik, Prof. Rürup.

Dr. Wolf-Dieter Perlitz received their Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen - Maschinenbau from Technische Universität Darmstadt in 2011. Dr. Wolf-Dieter also obtained the certification of Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. in the same year. In 2012, they pursued their doctoral studies at Technische Universität Berlin and earned a Dr. rer. oec. degree in 2015. In 2011, they briefly attended the University of California, Berkeley to study International Business, and they returned to the same university at an unspecified time for an unspecified purpose.
