Karla Vila

Karla Vila has a diverse work experience in the field of art and design. Karla is currently working as a Freelance Art Director at Dentsu Creative Philippines starting from August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Kems.Design since June 2019. Karla has also held the position of Senior Graphic Designer at Sweetyet Development Pte Ltd from November 2011 to May 2019. Before that, they worked as an Artist at ActMedia Philippines from July 2009 to July 2011. Karla started their career as a Senior Artist at Filstar Distributors Corporation from August 2007 to April 2009, where they were responsible for designing marketing and promotional collaterals and teaching scrapbooking. Karla gained initial experience as an In-house Graphic Artist at Orlina Atelier from October 2006 to April 2007.

Karla Vila attended the University of Santo Tomas from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Design degree with a major in Advertising Arts. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2002, they attended Lorma Colleges Special Science Highschool, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period.
