Ashley Muggli is an experienced museum professional with a strong background in collections management and anthropology. Currently serving as the Assistant Collections Manager at the Denver Art Museum since September 2022, Ashley has previously held positions at the CU Art Museum and the University of Colorado, where responsibilities included managing collections and registration. Notably, Ashley managed NAGPRA projects for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Bureau of Land Management repositories. Additional experience includes consulting at the Black American West Museum, curation internships, and various assistant roles across several institutions, including the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and Mesa Verde National Park. Ashley holds a Master of Science in Museum and Field Studies with a focus on anthropology, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
