Chaz McKenzie

Chaz McKenzie is currently a Northeast Area Scout at the Denver Broncos. Prior to this, they were a student at The Scouting Academy from January 2021 to June 2021. During this time, they took a 16-week class with Dan Hatman which taught him how to improve their evaluation skills. Chaz also gained valuable insights and advice from former NFL Scouts and Executives. McKenzie is very passionate about football and is excited to pursue a career in this field.

From December 2019 to February 2020, McKenzie worked as a Member Service Representative at Crunch Fitness. In this role, they provided excellent customer service to members and helped them with any questions or concerns they had.

Lastly, from June 2019 to June 2021, McKenzie was a Recruiting Coordinator/Coaching Assistant for Central Washington University Football. In this role, they were responsible for recruiting new athletes to the team and assisting the coaches with game strategy and planning. Chaz was an invaluable asset to the team and helped them achieve success on and off the field.

Chaz McKenzie graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in sports management. Chaz then worked in the business, management, marketing, and related support services field for several years.

Their manager is Kelly Kleine, Executive Director, Football Operations & Special Advisor to the General Manager. They are on a team with Roya Burton - Player Personnel Assistant, Darren Mougey - Assistant General Manager, and Tony Lazzaro - Senior Director, Football Technology & Research.
