Christopher Thompson is an experienced professional in the golf operations and sales sectors, currently serving as a Route Service Sales Representative at Cintas since June 2024. Previously, Christopher held multiple roles at Denver Country Club, including Golf Operations Assistant, where responsibilities included managing the caddie program and overseeing club repair operations. As Caddie Master, Christopher hired and developed a team of over 60 caddies while ensuring member requests were met efficiently. Additionally, experience at Glenmoor Country Club and American Golf Corporation further highlights expertise in sales, customer service, and team management. Christopher holds a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Grand Canyon University, earned between 2018 and 2020.
Denver Country Club
The Denver Country Club is one the oldest and most exclusive private clubs in the United States. Founded in 1887, it originally centered around horse racing but soon expanded to tennis, polo, golf and a myriad of other sports.The DCC is the oldest country club west of the Mississippi. The Club held its first men's golf championship the same year (1895) as the United States Open and United States Amateur. The Club's first women's champion was held two years later in 1897. The Denver Country Club moved from its original location at Overland Park to its present location astride Cherry Creek in 1905. The Club's Cherry Creek course was designed and modified by a veritable "Who's Who" of golf architects including James Foulis, Donald Ross, William Flynn, A.W. Tillinghast, Bill Coore and most recently Gil Hanse, 2009 Golf Architect of the Year, who was selected in a world-wide competition to design and build the 2016 Olympic golf venue in Rio de Janeiro.
