Abby Worland

Abby Worland has a diverse work experience in various educational organizations. Abby is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations & Finance at Denver Institute for Faith & Work since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Rocky Mountain Prep, where they held multiple roles including Managing Director of People from July 2020 to January 2022, Director of Fellow Development from July 2016 to July 2020, and Founding Science Teacher from January 2013 to June 2016. Before joining Rocky Mountain Prep, Abby worked as a Classroom Teacher at Rosser Elementary School from August 2010 to May 2012. Abby also served as a Corps Member at Teach For America from June 2010 to May 2012.

Abby Worland's education history includes a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Delta State University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in History at Baylor University, attending from 2006 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Abby Worland has also obtained a certification as a Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) from HRCI in June 2020.
