Eric Brandt

Eric Brandt currently serves as the Dean of Instruction at John F. Kennedy High School within the Denver Public Schools, leading the English, Social Studies, and World Languages departments since August 2021. Previous roles include ELD Teacher at Montgomery County Public Schools, where instruction focused on high school English language learners, and various leadership positions at Denver Public Schools, including Assistant Principal and Instructional Coach, contributing to notable academic growth in student achievement. Brandt has extensive experience in teacher coaching, professional development, and curriculum design across multiple educational settings, along with a strong foundation in bilingual education from initial teaching roles in Germany and through participation in programs such as Teach For America. Brandt holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master’s in Elementary Education and a Principal License from the University of Denver.
