Taryn Rawson

Taryn Rawson is an experienced education leader currently serving as Principal at Goldrick Elementary School within Denver Public Schools, having held various leadership roles since June 2017, including Senior Regional Specialist and Director of Teacher Leadership and Career Pathways, where Taryn successfully led Denver's innovative teacher leadership program benefiting over 1,000 teachers. Previous experience includes serving as Senior Manager for Instructional Leadership, focusing on coaching school leaders and enhancing instructional systems, and practicing law as an Attorney at Morrison & Foerster LLP, contributing to high-stakes class action and intellectual property cases. Taryn began teaching as a Founding Teacher at Achievement First, developing curriculum for a new urban charter middle school, and previously taught as a bilingual 4th-grade teacher with the NYC Department of Education. Taryn holds a Master of Education from the Broad Residency in Urban Education, a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Harvard Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts in History, cum laude, from Yale University.
