Corey Steagall

Development Coordinator at Denver Scholarship Foundation

Corey is an Arizona native, born in Tucson and raised in the mountain town of Flagstaff. After high school, she moved to Tempe to pursue a degree at Arizona State University. During this time she volunteered with many nonprofits and discovered a passion for working with her community. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology, with a fundamental idea that being part of an organization that helped the community is key to seeing social change. Keeping this in mind, she began her career by moving to Colorado to serve as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the BBB Foundation. After her service year as a VISTA, she worked with the Meals on Wheels program through Volunteers of America. She now works at Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) in the role of development coordinator, providing fundraising, marketing and event support to the DSF Development team.
