Zachary (Zack) Montez was born and raised in the city and county of Denver and is a proud graduate of Denver West High School—Go Cowboys! He is a first-generation student who earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a supplementary major in Pre-Professional Studies from the University of Notre Dame—Go Irish! Since graduating in 2010, Zack has been working with high school students to navigate through the often confusing college application and financial aid process. He is passionate about making students aware of the variety of opportunities after high school and thinking critically about which path will best fit them. At Northfield High School, Zack aims to inspire and empower students to reach out and work towards fulfilling their dreams and aspirations and enjoys getting to know students, staff, families, and community partners within the Northfield community.

Denver Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit organization that actively works inside DPS high schools and on a variety of college campuses to not only help DPS students get into and pay for college, but to ultimately graduate as well.
