Darío Hernández Peña has extensive work experience in various roles within the companies Deoleo and Altadis.
At Deoleo, they started their career in December 2006 as a Strategic Buyer. Darío then advanced to the role of Responsible for Packaging Purchases, where they were responsible for managing and coordinating the purchasing process for packaging materials. After that, they served as the Responsible for Strategic Purchases of Seeds, where they led the strategic purchasing activities for seeds. In November 2012, they took on the position of Business Unit Controller, providing financial control and analysis for the company's operations. From August 2015 to October 2020, they served as the Manager of Market Intelligence for Raw Material Purchases, overseeing market research and analysis to inform purchasing decisions. Currently, they are working as the Planning, Controlling, and Market Intelligence Raw Material, where they utilize their skills and experience to ensure effective planning and controlling of raw material activities.
Prior to their work at Deoleo, Darío gained experience as an intern in the Department of International Operations at Altadis from January 2006 to April 2006.
Darío Hernández Peña's education history includes several academic achievements. Darío attended San Telmo Business School from 2013 to 2014, where they completed the Programa Intensivo Dirección Empresas. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2006, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. During this period, they received a Licenciado degree in Administration y Dirección de Empresas. Additionally, they also obtained another Licenciado degree in Derecho from the same university. In 2004 to 2005, Darío participated in an Erasmus exchange program at Université de Bordeaux, focusing on the study of Derecho.
