Siddhartha Ray

Siddhartha Ray has a diverse work experience in various industries. Their most recent role was as a Senior Sales Officer at Deoleo starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Adani Wilmar as an Area Sales Executive from July 2019 to June 2023. In this role, they were responsible for handling distribution and DSMs in the East Delhi and South Delhi area for FMCG and oil industry, achieving targets and KPIs, and resolving distribution and customer-related issues.

Before joining Adani Wilmar, Siddhartha worked at The Himalaya Drug Company as a Sales Officer - Key Accounts from August 2017 to July 2019. In this position, they handled key accounts of the Zindel division in General Trade in the East Delhi area, managed distributors, solved retailer and salesman issues, and ensured proper visibility at stores.

Prior to that, Siddhartha was a Territory Head (Trade Sales Consumer Products) at Bajaj Electricals Ltd from June 2016 to August 2017. In this role, they negotiated with distributors to initiate primary sales, provided solutions to challenges faced by salesmen in a semi-rural market, and addressed service and product-related problems faced by retailers.

Siddhartha also has experience as a Summer Intern at Luxor Writing Instruments Pvt. Ltd. where they assisted sales executives in promoting Luxor products in alternative channels between May 2015 and July 2015. Additionally, Siddhartha completed a Summer Internship at the National Hydro-electric Power Corporation in May 2011.

Siddhartha Ray's education history begins with their enrollment at St George's School from 1993 to 2008, during which they focused on Computer Science. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering at Maharshi Dayanand University from 2008 to 2012. Lastly, Siddhartha acquired a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing & Sales from Amity University between 2014 and 2016.
