Shajib Rahman

Shajib Rahman is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in financial management and compliance. Currently serving as Assistant Director Finance Business Partner and Assistant Director, Financial Frameworks & Compliance at the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry since July 2022, Shajib leads a team focused on the implementation of financial management systems and compliance with regulatory frameworks. Prior experience includes roles as Finance Business Partner and Finance Leader at Gunnedah Shire Council, where Shajib oversaw financial functions and managed a team of financial professionals. Additional experience encompasses working as a Business Services Accountant at FPP Accountants, managing accounts payable at TM International (Bangladesh) Ltd, and contributing as an Audit Assistant at Rahman Mostofa Alam and Co. Shajib holds a Chartered Accountant designation from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Master's degree in Professional Accounting from UNSW.
