Carolyn Hix

Carolyn Hix, LMHC, is an experienced mental health professional with a diverse background in behavioral health and human resources. Currently serving as a Behavioral Health Consultant Supervisor for the Florida Department of Children and Families since November 2022, Carolyn also provides licensed mental health counseling remotely through Fortitude Wellbeing LLC. Previous roles include Mental Health Therapist positions at organizations such as Saint Johns Recovery Place and Pennyroyal Center, as well as experience as a Human Resources Generalist for the City of Palm Bay and various HR roles with the United States Department of Defense. Carolyn holds a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resources and Business Management, from American Intercontinental University.
