Jonathan Valdelamar

Jonathan Valdelamar is an experienced professional in child protection and training management, currently serving as Training Manager and Program Administrator at the Florida Department of Children and Families since July 2015. Valdelamar has held various positions within the organization, including Child Protective Investigator Supervisor and Senior Child Protective Investigator. Additionally, Jonathan serves as a Senior Airman in the US Air Force Reserve since August 2018. Prior experience includes roles as a Behavior Assistant/Verbal Behavior Tech at New Way Day Services, Inc., and as a Senior Staffing Coordinator and Case Coordinator with Our Kids. Valdelamar also has experience in hospitality as a Night Auditor and Guest Services Agent at Miami Beach Resort and Spa, along with previous positions in education and retail. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Florida International University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Child Protection at Nova Southeastern University.
