Linda Yan

Linda Yan currently serves as the Director of the Executive Office and Partnerships in the COP31 Conference Preparations Section at the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment, and Water since July 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Director for Speaker, Ministerial & Bilateral engagement during the 2024 ASEAN-Australia Summit Taskforce at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet from October 2023 to June 2024. Linda Yan's previous positions include Head of Government, Education & Social Infrastructure at the National Australia Bank and various roles at the Australian Trade Commission, including Trade Commissioner in Hong Kong, Macau, and Indonesia. Early career experience includes a graduate role at the Australian Customs Service. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of Business Administration from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Salve Regina University, and a Bachelor of Asian Studies from The Australian National University.
