Seif Sockar

Seif Sockar is an experienced professional in economic development and business process improvement, serving as the Manager of Economic Development Projects at the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism since December 2018. In this role, Seif supervises cross-functional teams to implement over 60 projects aligned with Dubai's strategic D33 objectives aimed at doubling the city’s GDP by 2033, collaborating with various government stakeholders and the private sector. Previously, Seif led initiatives that improved process efficiency by 20% and ensured compliance across multiple departments as Manager of Business Process Improvement. Additionally, Seif managed the Enterprise Risk Management program, significantly reducing risk exposure for over 50 departments. Prior to this, Seif held various roles at PwC from Consultant to Senior Consultant from March 2013 to November 2018. Seif holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Central Michigan University.
