Joel Woods

Joel Woods has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as Principal Consultant and Project Manager for the Department of Education in Western Australia. In this role, Joel leads the Participation and Operational Priorities team, focusing on implementing recommendations from the Participation Review. Previously, Joel held positions including Participation and Engagement Manager and Engagement and Transitions Manager, where efforts concentrated on enhancing student engagement and supporting disengaged youth. Prior roles include Project Manager at WestOne Services and Senior Policy Officer at the Department of Education, further supplemented by experience as Regional EVE Coordinator and Head of Careers at Lakeland Senior High School. Joel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from The University of Western Australia.
