Bridget L.

Bridget L. has diverse work experience starting from 1998 to the present. Currently, they serve as the Chief of Planning and Evaluation at the Elder Affairs Department of Florida. In this role, they collaborate with the executive team, provides strategic planning and policy research advice, oversees grant applications and writing, manages research activities, and produces reports and presentations to support decision-making. Before that, they worked as a Government Technology Innovation and Strategic Planner at the Florida Agency for State Technology/Department of Management Services from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Special Project Manager at the Department of Revenue from 2009 to 2018. Between 2001 and 2009, Bridget held the role of Outreach Liaison and Editor at the Florida Public Service Commission. Earlier in their career, they worked at the Florida Department of Health as an Intern Registration Reviewer and Continuing Education Reviewer from 1999 to 2001. Bridget also worked as an Auditor at the Department of Revenue in 1999 and as a Substitute Teacher at the District School Board of Pasco County in 1998.

Bridget L. holds a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree in Public Administration, which they obtained from Florida State University in 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Education from Eastern Washington University in 1998. Additionally, they graduated from the same university in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History. Bridget L. also holds an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies, which they received from Grays Harbor College in 1995.

In terms of certifications, Bridget L. obtained a certification in Social Sciences Teachers, Postsecondary from The Florida Department of Education in November 2020.
