Aaron Z. Davis

Aaron Z. Davis is a Senior Accountant at the U.S. Department of Energy since April 2016, responsible for complex assignments involving the design and development of automated accounting systems and advising on operational improvements. Previously, Aaron served as a Budget Analyst, managing budget formulation and execution for various funds and acting as a liaison for multiple organizations. Earlier experience includes roles as an Auditor for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, conducting audits and compliance analyses, and for the Defense Contract Audit Agency, performing risk assessments of defense contractors. Aaron also worked as a Graduate Assistant at Tennessee Technological University and served in the Army National Guard as a Fire Support Sergeant, providing security and operational support during a deployment. Aaron holds an MBA in Accounting from Tennessee Technological University and a BS in Liberal Arts from Excelsior University.
