Jennifer Arrigo serves as a Senior Advisor for Fusion Energy Sciences at the U.S. Department of Energy since March 2020, focusing on the development of the National Fusion Energy Science and Technology Roadmap and innovative public-private partnerships. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Science and Energy Crosscuts and Program Manager for Environmental System Science at the United States Global Change Research Program from May 2017 to 2020, where leadership was provided in developing the US Office for the Global Water and Energy Cycle Exchanges (GEWEX) program. Arrigo also worked as a Program Manager at NOAA, overseeing the Climate Monitoring Program, and held deputy and program management roles at the Consortium of Universities for the Advancement of Hydrologic Science. Early academic positions were held as Assistant Professor at East Carolina University and Worcester State University. Jennifer Arrigo holds a PhD in Geography and a BA in Environmental Science, both from Boston University.
