Jonathan Lane

Jonathan Lane serves as a Senior Advisor for Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy at the U.S. Department of Energy since October 2023. Lane's extensive experience includes roles as an Advisor at CIV:LAB and Impact Hub New York Metropolitan Area, and significant leadership positions within the Urban Land Institute, including Co-Chair and Vice Chair of the NY Technology & Innovation Council. Previously, Lane held the position of Vice President at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, focusing on infrastructure innovation and the green economy. Lane's background is further enriched by participation in the Coro New York Leadership Center as a Leadership New York Fellow and the Urban Design Forum as a Forefront Fellow. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, complemented by a BBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
