Tiago Caldeira is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation, technology, and education in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a Learning Technology Advisor at the Department of Government Enablement since December 2022, Tiago has also taken on the role of Skill Competition Manager for Mobile Robotics at WorldSkills International from March 2023 to July 2024, driving global skill transformation. As the Founder and Group CEO of NXT4YOU.com from 2008 to 2022, Tiago established a leading brand in educational robotics in Portugal. Additional roles include Chief Operating Officer at Pulse Music, Chief Technology Officer at Global Vision for Training and Precise Trading LLC, and Assistant Manager at Higher Colleges of Technology, where Tiago significantly contributed to startup development and innovation initiatives. Tiago holds multiple advanced degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Mechatronics from esteemed institutions including Instituto Superior Técnico and Universidade de Coimbra, and has received accolades such as the Staff of the Year and Exceptional Employee Award.
