Jarrad Wilson is an experienced gastroenterologist with a robust background in both clinical practice and academia. Since March 2015, Jarrad has been practicing at a gastroenterology private practice and the Royal Hobart Hospital. Prior to these roles, Jarrad served as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Tasmania from January 2011 to December 2014, and completed a fellowship in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases at St. Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne, from January 2007 to December 2008. Jarrad began medical training as a gastroenterology registrar and intern at Royal Hobart Hospital from 1999 to 2005 and has also held the position of gastroenterology registrar at St. Vincent's Hospital in 2006. Jarrad holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Tasmania and a Doctor of Medicine specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease from the University of Melbourne.
