Andrew Dare is a seasoned policy advisor with extensive experience in health and social services. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Victorian Department of Health since October 2018, Andrew leads initiatives such as targeted health support for children in out-of-home care and suicide prevention program design and implementation. Previous roles include Principal Policy Officer for the Family Violence Prevention Agency Establishment Team, Senior Policy Officer at the Department of Health & Human Services in Victoria, and contributions to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. Andrew has a strong academic background with a Master's in Criminology from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor's in Criminology from the University of Melbourne.
