Michelle Vu has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry, primarily focusing on digital health and strategic initiatives. Michelle is currently working as a Principal Lead in Digital Health at the Victorian Department of Health. Prior to this, Michelle held the position of Manager Strategic Initiatives - Child Link at the Department of Education & Training, Victoria. Michelle also served as the Head of Health Informatics at Virtus Health and as the Group Manager of Clinical Service Improvement at Epworth. Earlier in their career, Michelle worked at Ambulance Victoria as a Senior Project Manager and at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health as the Victorian Stroke Telemedicine Program Manager. Michelle also gained experience as a Program Manager at Surgical Multimedia Services and as a Program Manager, Statewide Paediatric Orthopaedics at The Royal Children's Hospital.
Michelle Vu holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Melbourne. Michelle also completed a Diploma in Project Management at the Australian Institute of Management. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained various certifications, including being a Certified Practitioner of Human-Centred Design from LUMA Institute in 2023, Business Benefits Realization Foundations from LinkedIn in 2022, Cert Prep: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from LinkedIn in 2022, and Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci in 2021.
