Michael Ferron

Michael Ferron currently serves in the Office of Associate General Counsel for Fair Housing at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development since September 2023. Ferron has extensive experience as a Real Estate Instructor for the Indiana Association of REALTORS' Real Estate Certification Program since October 2016, focusing on fair housing, diversity, and professional standards. As the Managing Broker and REALTOR at 10|24 Real Estate from June 2015 to July 2023, Ferron founded a brokerage dedicated to affordable housing development and managed operations and legal compliance. Previous roles include serving as a Referral Associate at Coldwell Banker, a Certified Legal Extern at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, and a Law Clerk at Lee Cossell & Crowley LLP, where Ferron contributed to civil rights litigation. Ferron's legal experience is complemented by a Doctor of Jurisprudence and a Graduate Certificate in Civil and Human Rights Law from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language & Culture from Indiana University Indianapolis.
