Victor Lopez

Technical Branch Chief, Construction at U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development

Victor Lopez, PMP, currently serves as the Technical Branch Chief of Construction at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development since September 2021. Prior to this role, Victor held the position of General Engineer at the US Army Corps of Engineers from February 2019 to September 2021, where responsibilities included serving as the Program Manager and South Pacific Division Liaison to the Border Infrastructure Program Management Office. Victor's extensive experience also includes a tenure as Director of Infrastructure and Risk Management at The Corpus Christi Army Depot, overseeing a large team and maintaining a vast industrial complex. Earlier in Victor's career, roles included Chief of Facilities Engineering Management Division and Project Manager at KJM Commercial, Inc., as well as President and Senior Project Manager at NDS Construction. Victor earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
